I think that one important concern is placing the data in an online location that you can be assured will be available for years to come, not someplace where the files will disappear in a few months.

Gustavo Leite It is not an easy question. If you know that you will remain at your school for a long time, a school web folder would work. You could use Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc., but you need to maintain your accounts on those platforms. It would be nice of the journals, themselves, would host the raw data someday.
But as time passes, I think that making anonymized raw data public will be a more common expectation, given the recently-revealed failings in reproducibility and in studies that fake results.
