I'm looking to get a tablet for my lab to use as an interface with our Electronic Lab Notebook. It can be iOS or android. Using a tablet in our PC2 wet lab has a few special considerations. It doesn't need to have a lot of memory or processing power as our ELN uses cloud storage. I mostly need something sturdy. It needs to be as waterproof as possible and easily decontaminated. I'd like to have a protective case but that too needs to be waterproof. I'd like for it to take nice pictures and video so we can easily document experiments visually. I'd also like if there was an option to prop it up on a stand for easy viewing while at the bench.

Do you use a tablet in the lab? What model do you use? Are there other factors I haven't thought about with regard to using one in the lab?
