The oxidation peak current for my synthesised HCF at +0.7V. The peak potential remain as the same in the presence of 1mM analyte. (both in CV)
When I test the optimise potential in amperometry testing for analyte detection, noise started to occur at 0.7V, which is the peak E as in CV. Higher current response was generated at 0.7V if compare to +0.6V, 0.55V etc. At E lower than 0.7V, there are less noise.
What is the reason?
Usually, a noise appears when gas evolution begins. Do you saw bubbles?
There are so many reasons for the noise, but mainly it arises from fluctuation current and potential. Moreover, water splitting (if your electrolyte aqueous) is one of the reason, check the link for more information.

Could you illustrate, please, your cell[1] (and the electrodes) ?
1. Your amperometry testing for analyte detection, and your testing cell is accepting/working with 2 or 3 electrodes etc. ?
