Ramadan fasing is allowed in:
1- Patients with covid 19?
2- Vaccinated persons?
3- Those with risk factors of severe covid 19?
4- Isolated positive cases?
5- Pregnant positive cases?
6- Breast-feed positive women?
7- Others?
These persons are not allowed for Ramadan fasting:
- Patients with covid19 with lung involvment or at later phase
They need to be rest and calm to allow their immunologic system repair dysregulation (cytokin storm).
- Patients with multi risk factors for covid19 or its complication
They mostly consumpt various drugs.
- Negative women at the third trimester of their pregnancy
They mostly do not tolerate fasting or starvation while their babies may fail to thrive.
- Women in the first year of their breast-feeding
Their neonates should be breast-fed until six months while they allowed to eat ordinary food after the first year.
- Elders with covid19
They are at more risk of covid19 complications, more comorbidities, and mostly are unable for starvation or fasting.
- Elders with multi comorbidities
They are at more risk of comorbidity complications and mostly are unable for starvation or fasting.
