Currently major issue for parenteral/sterile products for Ralstonia pickettii microorganism..
As per literature, its coming from soil or water..
its very much resist against heat and good growing even low nutrient supply in water.
even its can't retain by 0.2 micron filtration (Sterile filtration) process.
please suggest any option to remove this microorganism from water.

Ralstonia picketti has been identified in bio-film formation in plastic water piping (Anderson et al. 1990). High purity water would not be conducive to microbial survival. It is a innocent bacteria and are useful. Its ability to utilize a range of carbon sources has also made it candidate for bio-remediation. Then why you want to remove it ?
Actually i am worried because during one of Parenteral/injection product manufacturing i found this bacteria in Water for injection and as per Regulatory Parenteral products must be Free from any Microorganism.
so if is there any way to retain or remove it from water than its very helpful for us.
You may try with chlorine dioxide treatment at a concentration between 20 and 50ppm for 12 hours.. Chlorine dioxide is a oxidizing agent and can destroying the cell wall and organelles of gram negative rod shaped bacteria like Ralstonia picketti.
