I would like to analyze a survey which was analyzed in the past with the SPSS software. The survey has a weight variable.
I tried to use save() function to save an R object to a specific file with extension .RData. Then I tried to read back the object with load() function without assigning it to anything because it will assign to its original name.

Worth producing a MWE (minimal working example, with session info) so readers can replicate your error. If the problem is with save/load, then the geepack stuff is not needed (and the opposite if the problem with with geepack).

Not a bad idea to make sure your file paths are in order. To avoid this issue you can try creating a project (*.Rproj file extension).
