In "Artificial Neural Networks" we imitate "brain". In "Artificial Human Optimization" we imitate entire Artificial Humans. So "Artificial Brain" versus "entire Artificial Humans", which is going to become more popular? only Brain alone in neural networks or entire artificial humans in Artificial Human Optimization? Which is going to become more popular?
Artificial neural networks "versus" artificial human improvement help in improvement and evolution and have been a good consideration in your proposal
Artificial neural networks are mainly used in image recognition and voice and speech recognition. But artificial optimization means as you said is replication of humans so we need proper functionality between brain, hands, legs and coordination which includes all over of ANN. So, in my view artificial optimization has more bright future. You can also read about world's first robot which still has problems in coordinating throughout it's systems.
Both Artificial Neural Networks" and "Artificial Human Optimization" will take more focus by the researchers in future.
I believe algorithms based on complete Humans might become more popular than algorithms based on Brain only. This is my personal opinion. I love Artificial Neural Networks also because I love my brain. As I am Founder of Artificial Human Optimization Field, I am voting for "Artificial Human Optimization" to become more popular.
