Can anyone please explain to me the basics of the doping concentration in Sentarus TCAD? The unit is given in cm-3: doping concentration 1e17 cm-3. But if the device is scaled into nano-meter, what would be the concentration in nm-3??
The same for charge specification in the Physics: interface trap. The unit is given in 1.6e-16 Coulomb/cm-3. But if the device is on the nanometer scale, what would be the charge concentration in nm-3 ?? Does TCAD automatically convert it accordingly?

for clearing out the doping concentration. For charge density, I was trying to figure out what will be the total charge that I am applying to a region using the fixed charge statement in the physics section. If I define a fixed charge Q C-cm-3 for a let's say X nm3 region, will the total charge for that X nm3 region be QX C?

I agree with dr.Muhammad Hamza El-Saba completely even the length are by default in micrometer ( um ) in all device simulators .
