I find in the market a product with these principal ingredients (quaternary ammonium and a protease, lipase and savinase) that can be a disinfectant with a enzymatic action for the cleaning of surgical instruments. I wonder, is this possible? Can we make this combination thinking in the fact that the enzymes have a incompatibility with the quaternary ammonium? Does anyone know how we can make the right environment to the enzymes like proteases, savinases and lipolases?

The incompatibility come In the structure of the quaternary ammonium, this kind of desinfectant have positive charge And make a lost of activity in the enzymes
that depends on the structure, if it's some simple say tetramethylammonium, I don't see any reason why should it lose activity. On contrary, ammonium sulphate is used for precipitation and I'd guess that's the reason why they use it.
Besides, I'd expect the company to know what are they doing ;)
well, thank you, but I see the incompatibility of the enzyme with quaternary ammonium because a made a pilot, in this pilot I saw after 2 months that the buffer substance that I used to make the right enviroment for my enzymes form a precipitated. And I can´t generated this kind of solid in my solution cause can breake up the funtionability with the cleaning of surgical instrumental. I will continue my search, thanks for your comments.
