Quantitative Determination of Ethyl-hexanol in LiBr Absorption Solutions?

I am looking for the proper determination method of 2-Ethyl-1-Hexanol solved in and floating on a ~ 50 wt% LiBr Solution in sum. At first we have a problem to take a homogeneous sample and of course with the analysis itself. Anyone can help?

depending on your overall experiment vibrational spectroscopy can be an option. LiBr doesn't give a signal and the 2-ethyl-1-hexanol has a characteristic spectral fingerprint
