My aim is to find out how the discourse about euthanasia was framed in the media in Germany compared to the UK in 2015. To achieve this, I want to use a qualitative approach to analyse Newspaper articles. Are there any ideas, on how to approach this? And how many articles do I need to analyse?

A suitable method for this would be critical discourse analysis as proposed by Norman Fairclough, Ruth Wodak, or Siegfried Jäger.
The answer to the question on how many articles to include in the corpus depends very much on the goals of your research, but also on the resources you have. I would start with a few articles expected to be 'contrasting cases', e.g. conservative/liberal, develop first categories and then see where it leads me for further sampling as in the concept of 'theoretical sampling' used in grounded theory methodology.

I Agree with Laura Schwarz. If we want to compare two cases, ex country we better search similar and different.
Pls, try to find the relevant theory to analyze the content of the Newspaper and many theories are too relevant to this, at least get your scope of limitations and RO. regards
