You have done aa good job of describing your study, but I am not sure what you mean by "Comparative Content Analysis" because content analysis can mean several different things in qualitative research. For example, are you planning to develop a codebook prior to your analysis and then apply that codebook to all your cases?

For comparative case studies in general, I high recommend Yin's book, "Case Study Research."

I don't really intend to develop a codebook prior to my analysis (at least not a fixed one) but I already suspect what the major themes and categories will be (from my literature review).

I looked at Yin's book but I am not sure it really applies in my case as I am collecting more data than what is usually suggested, and I only intend to carry out individual semi-structured interviews.

Finally, as the information I am gathering is quite sensitive, I intend to anonymize the results (therefore I am not sure case studies would work in my case but I might be wrong)

Yin's basic idea is to identify concepts and match them to protocols, and then try to get information across as many organizations as possible on those concepts. So, if you ask the same semi-structured interviews to everyone, that would not fit.

Besides the "deductive" approach of developing a codebook in advance and the "inductive" approach of developing one from reading the data, there is a "hybrid" approach where you begin with a limited codebook based on prior work and then add to it and modify it as you work on the data.
