I found that often we do not pay due attention to gaseous emboli (GME) that, regardless of the genetic variations, weigh heavily on the neurological outcome of the cardiac patient.
From this point of view the subject of GME deserves an in-depth analysis and study that would lead us to change the way we run the CPB.
