One way of pulsation attenuation is the use of PAN in which a part from the fluid flowing in the pipe (compressed by reciprocating compressor) is to use PAN. In PAN, we have to adjust the Tuning section length so that to tune the frequency of fluid with the compress frequency so that effect of resonance can be cancelled out. Can anyone give me an idea how to select or calculate the length of pipes. Little detail can be found in the attached pdf.
