Now a days students don't prefer to study with books. They like you tube channels, Instagram reels, Online web content etc... So its a big concern for we researchers whether we should write books or not? give your views...
Publishing technical books is still valuable since books give authors long-form space to show depth, rigour and original thinking, which still matters for academic and professional credibility. A book remains a stable, organised and citable resource, unlike scattered content on social media and YouTube. Books are still relied upon by many universities, colleges, and libraries as foundational learning tools. Technical books tend to remain useful for years, unlike videos and posts that trend and fade. Therefore, publishing technical books is still valuable, but we, authors, must adapt. We have to write for deep learners, but meet the visual generation where they are.
