I had recently published a research paper in a journal that had taken a copyright transfer from me in writing. Now I have to publish a richer & refined version of the same work (but it will be having, say 50% contents same as the published paper.) Can I publish it in any other journal now ?
Yes you can. But you have to refer to your previous work in the new research paper. Proper citation is necessary to restrict plagiarism of the already published work.
