80°C is too low temperature and you need an autoclave equipment to try obtaining something stable. Glass is amorphous but isn’t completely Silica , usually can contain other oxides, you could check at the book of professor Davidovits, there is an entire chapter dedicated at this topic.
There are other natural minerals, very rich in Silica that you can use for similar project, but I cannot reveal because should be matter for next patent.
By by the way reducing the costs of hardener (the liquid reagent used to create geopolymer binders) is the correct way to go further on industrial production.
Interesting papers Carlos Queiroz , thanks for sharing. I’m using autoclave as industrial manufacturers because I need repeatable products and glass waste for geopolymers isn’t the best starting raw materials , according to my experience of course.
