I am trying to synthesize PLL with OEG (30%)and Maleimide(20%) but for some unknown reasons I am not able to. Once I did manage to get the product but the obtained product had such low amount of maleimide reacted that it was actually unusable. Are there any protocols or any conditions I have to maintain to obtain the desired product? I think the problem is with maleimide but have no clue what it is. I tried two different batches of maleimide but every time it was the same problem.
