I have a question about the program arlequin. I have a problem in the input file, I use this program to calculate the haplotype frequencies in two populations (case/control). Those populations don't have known gametic phase.
You can see the input file of my study in attached.
The fastest way of solving your problem could be exporting your data from a program you are able to manage at this moment (I don't know which is) but most of Genetic programs have the option of import and export data from similars. Sometimes you have to add corrections in commas or periods that are well indicated in the User manual. Personally, I like GenAlex (Peakall R., and Smouse P., 2006, GENALEX 6: genetic analysis in Excel. Population genetic software for teaching and research, Mol Ecol Notes, 6: 288-295) because for the aim of your research (case/control haplotypes frequencies) you could find a friendly interface and an excellent help manual.
Thank you Adriana. I try with this program. I think that is better and easier than Arlequin because it use for the input file an excel document that is the same in which I put my genotupes.
