Hi everyone, I have some trouble getting good-quality high molecular DNA from Beauveria bassiana strains grown on PDA Petri plates. I have performed several CTAB and SDS protocols, but I didn’t have good results. The problem seems to be the Beauverias for I have done the same protocols with other genera such as Metarhizium or Purpureocillium and I have very good results. Does anybody have the same problem? Should I grow them in a liquid medium instead of solid?
