I want to open vis files that were created with the Olympus slide scanner vs120 by FIJI (imageJ) with the plugin olympusviewer. The funny thing is that most files can be opened properly, but some cannot. Instead, the following error is displayed:
"Failed to open file 200317 40x.vsi:jp.co.olympus.viewer.exception.IDAException: Failed to get level image size with lavel id:0 with Error Code:IDA_RESULT_FAILURE, Failed to Release Groups/Close File:jp.co.olympus.viewer.exception.IDAException: Failed to get level image size with lavel id:0 with Error Code:IDA_RESULT_FAILURE"

It might be worth double checking that these can be opened on the Olympus machine that they were taken on, just to make sure they are not corrupted
