Dear Dr. Shameemul Haque , Yes there are many problems. I think internet connectivity and speed are the important issues in online education. Another aspect is that both the teacher and the student is new to this system. Warm regards Yoganandan
I think the first problem is that many teachers think of teaching a virtual class as if they were in a traditional classroom. It is necessary to learn the didactic techniques of online learning.
2. Lack of adequate knowldge on application of online learning.
3.Most student are not prepared psychologically to use virtual learning. Some are still reluctant to accept virtual learning as a form of learning compared to traditional learning techniques
Online teaching was a bad experience by inexperience teachers and unaware students. It was imposed on teachers and students without prior planning and preparation. Online education is a well organized and technical, and need at least one to two years training.
The problems are slow internet connectivity, not yet skilled in using technologies and apps to be used in e-learning, and financial due to mass lay-off of work of the family members due to closure of establishments where they are working before.
Most online classes are of shorter duration compared to the offline classes. So students and teachers get less time to spent with each other and talk about studies. Also, not everything can be covered during online classes. "On=Job-Training" or OJT remains untouched during online classes.
The most challenge to the students apart from internet connection in some Remoteness are is very low or Not support at totally Another challenge it's lack of enough knowledge and skills on using Internet especially to the students on secondary school and primary school !
Learning from home can be lonely. Without the buzz of the classroom setting and the company of their peers, it’s no surprise that some students can begin to feel a strong sense of isolation that slowly erodes their desire to learn.
2-Lack of motivation in online learners
As hard as distance teaching might be for us, it’s likely even harder for our students.
3-Technical difficulties with online teaching tools
Developments in EdTech over the past decade have made the prospect of distance teaching a lot less daunting, but there are still issues that you need to be aware of.
4-Time-consuming resources
When you can no longer just stand in front of your class and teach, you have to rely on resources to do the job for you. And those take time to create.
5-Setting and forgetting online learning activities
Students aren’t the only ones who might feel diminished accountability in a distance education setting. It can be a struggle for teachers too.
The Covid-19 pandemic brought extraordinary disruption to the education landscape with the campuses closing everywhere almost overnight. Schools and colleges in most of the world have a different pattern of education where one cannot physically attend classes but has to attend classes virtually, a new problem occurs. here we will analyze some issues like internet connectivity problems and basic understanding of technology and other such problems, to understand the problem more closely we make Google form and conduct survey and interact with 160 approx. The results of the study stated that most people faced internet problems and did not have the knowledge to use and solve problems related to technology.
