Hello everyone,
I'm currently investigating Hippo pathway in ADPKD (Autosomal Polycystic Kidney Disease). We have a very good Ab to detect Yap protein which is also very specific and works nicely in IF and WB on cultured cells, and IHC on mouse kidney tissue. The problem is that when I tried to detect Yap protein from mouse kidney lysates I got no signal at all, only the mouse cell line lysate was positive (no overexpression, just endogenous protein). Does anyone have experienced anything like this? Any suggestion for an Ab that worked in your hands on tissue lysates (mouse kidney would be the best).
