I have a problem with high value of RMSEA in MGCFA with categorical variables with the WLSMV estimation method in Mplus.

I test a model consist of 4 variables on 4-point scale. I compare 28 countries.

Results of testing configural invariance are:

Chi-square: 1884.026

Degrees of Freedom: 57

P-Value: 0.000

RMSEA: 0.130

90 Percent C.I. : 0.125 - 0.135
