We have been using the cytation to image A375 cells over several days. Although it is CO2 and temperature controlled, we have been experiencing cell death. We have began adding HBSS to surrounding wells to help keep the plate humid, which was somewhat helpful. theHave others had similar problems? If so, are there any steps we could take to mitigate this problem?
Each cell type has distinct requirements to survive in culture, even at short term. I suggest you follow published protocols for the specific cell type you use. ATCC provides some information in their very introductory guide available at

Otherwise, to get more information in this forum, you need to tell the community which cells you are trying to maintain in culture, then someone who works with the same cell type will be able to help you with valuable tips.
