PDF does not embed unicode texts accurately. Therefore, it is impossible to search content in a PDF file if the text was written in an Asian language.
In this era, online publication and search engines are highly popular. They are no use for search contents of academic books and papers written in Asian languages since online publications are in PDF format.
Is there any solution to this problem?

You can still use chinese characters and still use for sesrch. There is an option to usd characters and to keep them. It will be under language setting. But I don't think it is independent on language input. I will still read the comments and see what comes up. It is an important question.
