Hello everyone,

I am doing plant extraction of Curcurma caesia and Pandanus amaryllifolious by using cold maceration method to obtain both organic and aqueous extracts.

I wanted to probe sonicate my samples with its soaking solvent before rotary evaporate them. Does anyone have any idea what is the frequency and time period permitted for lysing the sample before denaturing the biochemicals? or any general rule?

For some literature review, most research stated that doing it within 30 minutes and kHz under 25 degree C is the optimal condition.

Appreciated your feedbacks and Thank you.
