What is preliminary interview and its purpose / objectives??
Can we used preliminary interview to confirm / check our conceptual framework??? whether the variables that we used in the framework is applicable / valid / accepted in our study????
A preliminary interview is an initial meeting to gather basic information about how an applicant's goals, skills and qualifications can benefit a company's needs. A preliminary interview can possibly result in a “no” decision, but is not able to result in a final “yes” decision. So this is an interview to reduce the number of candidates, but not yet decide on which candidate to make an offer to.
