I dont think so , since there is some kind of organic matter always present in nearly all kinds of minerals soils including salt affected soils..

Besides addition of H2O2 to break the cementing agents of sesquioxides and organic matter, the addition of 5 ml dil O.1 M HCL will break down the remaining organic matter in the soil to separate soil particles for textural analysis

We use for the carbon and the mineral analysis XRF and HTC oven. We do not worry about the impact of organic mater.

It is difficult to completely remove soil C with H2O2 although it depends on the chemistry and mineralogical characteristics of soil under consideration. In one of our studies, we were able to reduce the initial C content of a tropical soil by 80%. See detailed procedures in this article DOI: 0038-075X/08/17309-587–601, page 590.

Even in intensively weathered soils of tropics, SOM remains inside the soil matrix, which helps in formation of stable aggregates. Obviously, there can never be any threshold limit of SOM for which H2O2 pretreatment will not be necessary. Complete destruction of soil aggregates is the most prerequisite for textural analysis, and SOM is the most strong binding agent. Whether the soil contains low or high amount of SOM, you will need to destroy it for textural analysis.

Since textural analysis is separating particles as per their size fraction distruction/ dettachment from all binding material is necessary. It includes SOC , carbonates as well as sesquioxides. I hope there is any treshhold value for any binding material for particle size analysis.
