I am trying to add an extra features in the in the rc vehicles and it would contain the antennas, what should I be careful about it?
If I want to analyze it using the oscilloscopes and mulitimeters, what else i could analyze it? In terms of signal processing (frequency analysis, range of frequencies, etc), and electronics (power distributions).
I am vague with what else I need to consider in order to analyze the circuits, any advice or recommendations would help me greatly (books, papers, etc)

The rc vehicles are vehicles which are controlled remotely by radio frequency of about 27 Mhz., which lies in the upper frequency range of the high frequency band. So, its electronic system is composed of electronic building block which is the controller on board of the car which controls the motion of the car by controlling its motors. such as move forward, backward, turn to left or turn to right. The controller executes the instructions given to it in form of messages formed in electrical signals. The instructions of the control is normally entered by the operator via a key pad or a joy stick. The instructions can be transformed by by cables or using radio transceiver normally a simplex one, from the operator transmitter attached to the key pad while the radio frequency receiver is is built on the controller board. Both the hand held wireless keypad and the on board electronic card for controlling the vehicle are powered by batteries as they are mobile system.
This understanding is needed to determine which test instruments are needed to analyse and observe its signal.
In this frequency range the instruments which you listed are sufficient to analyse and trouble shoot the electronic parts and the functionality electronics.
Only the oscilloscope bandwidth must be equal or greater than the carrier frequency used in the radio frequency control link such that one can observe the transmitted and the received the control signals via the rf link.

The whole reason I came up with the question is the power consumption inside the rc circuit, because I know the power drawn from the battery would affect the antenna components, when it is functional, and it would affect its frequency range respectively, and I wanted to make sure if my assumption is correct, :).. and since I am out of school, I have lack of chance to confirm it. :(

Fa, Not at all. I am pleased that you found my answer useful to you.
However i want to make some comments on the system parameters:
The frequency of the link is constant and normally stabilized by a crystal ocsillator.
The range of the t radio frequency transmission which is defined by the maximum distance between the transmitter and the receiver is limited by the transmit power as you said and the sensitivity of the receiver. Namely,It increases with the transmit power and the with the sensitivity of the receiver.
The power consumption can be measured by measuring the battery voltage V and the drawn current I from it. Then calculating the power from: P=IV.

Ms. Murthy, thank you very much for the insightful tips and advice, I have looked the links you posted, not fully but I get the idea, and where it is started. we are currently planning on to see if we could add the extra features in the drone we have, and hopefully I could analyze it with the electrical side of project. I have planned to see if I could install the fpv and radio system in the uav. If you could give any advice, it would be very helpful, since it seems there are several or many of components available, and we are not sure which would be good.
Thank you, Dr. Zekry for the thoughtful advice and verifying about the power issue in the drone :) I planned to see if I can add the radio inside the drone and see if I can install the FPV also, but for the radio part it seems hard to find the components that would suitable to the drone size. :(
Also, I tried to see if I could understand how antenna and the actual circuit would be analyzed, and trying to see if I can design or re-engineered this into the control system perspective, the power, and communication/ digital system such as how I can write this in a closed loop diagram, and see I can analyze it into bode, polar, linear, or logarith plots etc, haha.. it seems really vague for now :( but I hope I could find help or at least find some general concepts :)
