I'm currently at the design stage of developing video games for English vocabulary learning purpose for my 14 years old aboriginal learners.

The motivation behind this is in response to the main findings of needs analysis study for this development project. The aborigines were found to possess passive learning attitude during lessons and this sad state of affair has translated to extreme deficiency in English language mastery in spite of learning the target language for almost 12 years.

Hence, the project takes an exploratory approach in which I wish to rope in insights from academia concerning the 'best' design features or strategies that ought to be pragmatically considered, scrutinized and later included for such development effort. Hopefully, everyone would be kind enough to 'chip in' with your kind comments here. Thank you.
