I am currently doing my MSc. Crop Biotechnology and entrepreneurship at Nottingham University, UK. My group is working on ''Genie II'' Plant diagnostic kit for our Masters Dissertation.
We are assessing the need for field detection of plant pathogens in crops using LAMP technology (a specific molecular diagnostic method) and the objective of the project to identify major crop disease in India, China, Tanzania and Granada and design primers for this disease.
