Generally in Poultry experiment the total number of birds/treatment (suppose 80) divided into the different replications (20 birds/ replica) and for analysis of variance we used average of each replication. So instead of 80 observations for the particular treatment we had only 4 values to compare through ANOVA or else. Will it reduce the variability and have any effect on inference? Statistician can better suggest.
