During the hydrosilylation process, silicon nano-particles get polymerized and it is very difficult to process further. Is there any suggestion to avoid polymerization.
Could be the moisture problem. Try with dry silica gel, especially the one with the moisture indicator. Keep some time in closed vessel with the solvent, then decant carefully. Works well.
One of the options is to subject the hydrogen-terminated silicon nanoparticles to hydrosilylation added upon by a hydrosilylating reagent and brought about by microwave radiation.
