I intend to copolymerize 2-3 acrylic and vinyl pyridine comonomers each of which have 100 - 200 ppm of an inhibitor (MEHQ or HQ). My aim is similar to Article Solid-phase synthesis of molecularly imprinted nanoparticles

. In this work, the authors have stated:

"It should be noted that polymerization inhibitors might be present in some commercial preparations of monomers; however, their presence does not affect the polymerization negatively, as the amount of initiator used is much higher"

I would like to know if this statement is indeed true or it is necessary for me to invest in inhibitor remover columns.
