Please, I need a description of how this two variables of influenced eachother and how they have, if actually, led to violence conflict in Nigeria Independence
Dear Michelle: Violence that takes place in some countries has more than one form and type, one of which is ethnic violence. This kind of violence has its roots in cumulative attitudes between two communities, or religious attitudes, which are fed by ordinary and ignorant people. Therefore, the political elites representing their sects who are ignorant and imbued with the legacy of the past and hatred will lead their sects to civil war. The interest of love for leadership and visibility, love of money and greed may lead to sectarian violence and civil war.
Political leaders with bad qualities such as ignorance, hatred, love of money, love of political leadership, continued power, and personal interests may also introduce external factors, all of which are important factors that lead to ethnic violence. The best way to get rid of ethnic tension is to learn and educate, because raising public awareness will lead to the election of better leaders and avoid violence. "How you will be, political leaders will be a reflection of you."
Thankyou Nazar Alqahwachi . You have been a great source of encouragement to me and a significant figure on this platform. May you increase in wisdom. Thankyou co-researchers, i look forward to more perspectives on this.
The elites from the three major ethnic groups mismanaged the political fortunes of 'innocent' Nigeria... The mutual suspicions and fears in their dealings with each other remain the cradle or roots of the present conflicts and structural violence... The link below is an excerpt from a WhatsApp discussion I had with some Nigerian students. I have attached an article, too, which I attempted to discuss the sources of the aforementioned diffidence..
Thanks Lazar Vukadinovic , you seem to understand the dynamics of Nigerian politics more than the citizens, who may sometimes pretend not to know that truth. You commendations of the Nigerian Nation is both impressive and edifying. and Charles Ekpo , sosongo ette.
Thank you very much on your support. I sincerely wish the best to all Nigerians regardless of ethnicity. I love Naija and it makes me sad to see the quarelling amongst brothers and sisters. You need to persist and be united no matter what, because only united you are stronger. I hope that Nigerians will soon realise the threats you are faced with and respond as one. Always have in mind the credo from Nigerian coat of arms:Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress. Be worthy decendants of your ancestors.
Thankyou Charles Ekpo . Please, I cannot download the pdf of the Article on Origins of difference and Suspicion, could you please sand me a published copy in PDF format. Thanks. God bless.
