I want to get trained on latest gene editing technology like CRISPR CaS System on plant genome. Please can anyone suggest molecular biology lab in INDIA which is working well on CRISPR cas System in plants or in microbes? Those labs which have well set protocol and have enough hands on trained procedure, quality publications and well expertise team will be most preferred
You can start searching the publications by typing in keywords include CRISPR+crop (or plants)+India. Once results come out, check the labs from the authors' affiliations.

There are many users in India doing CRISPR/Cas9 based genome editing in plants and few of them are from IARI as well, you must go and check with Dr. Shally Parvin & Dr. Vinutha T Deptt. of Biochemistry IARI; Dr. D. Pattanayak; Prof. R.C. Sharma, JUIT Shimla. Couple of scientists in NIPGR, Dr. N. Dey ILS Bhubaneswar, Dr. Probhod K. Trivedi NBRI, Dr. C.S. Mohanty NBRI and there are many more. You find some of the groups in JNU and DU as well.
Better suggested to go thoroughly with the available literature (lots of literature available online), design your guide RNAs very very precisely, select a suitable vector (Addgene provides range of plant specific vectors) and then proceed futher for experiment.
Beside these, several companies also provide the custom services for gene editing like, ThermoFischer, Sigma.Merck, Dharmacon (GE group) etc.

Thank you for the detailed answer. But do they have already published their work. I ask because I see most reviews only.
Few of them have published data also. Dr. P. Trivedi NBRI presented data in a conference in Mohali in Dec 2016 and was about to communicate the same for publication. Many others have also achieved success in their experiments and might have published got it. Suggested to kindly get in touch with the concern PI or their lab members as per your interest.

I have done my Phd from IARI, new Delhi; hence I know that in MBB and Biochemistry division the work related to CRISPR is going on but they are in preliminary stages. Still they are yet to get results hence Scientists from MBB and Biochem div has suggested me to search other labs. I have searched many other labs in Delhi including DU and JNU but right now they are using CRIPSR Cas for BASIC research and not on applied part. Then after, I had got training for two months at Dr. Siddharth Tiwari from NABI who only have research publication till date in the field of CRISPr Cas Banana. Thanks for the reply!!

I work for Ella Foundation, Hyderabad. I have optimized the conditions and obtained a CRISPR/Cas9 mediated mutant in Saccharomyces cerevisiae (the results have not been published yet). Presently, I am extending the use of CRISPR-Cas9 tools in Pichia pastoris to generate mutant Pichia pastoris.
