Honestly, I think this is just another attempt to allure you to get a (paid) Scopus account/license. In essence it is yet another indexing service (https://blog.scopus.com/posts/plumx-metrics-now-on-scopus-discover-how-others-interact-with-your-research) and what I noticed is that the only real thing they added is possible patent info (and citations).
Without a Scopus account/license you can only access the papers published in Elsevier journals. So, nice but seriously wonder what the added value is of this service.

PS. There is no 'magic' PlumX metric, it is just a summary of Scopus, CrossRef, PubMed citations and Mendeley reads (and Patent citations).
