Please tell me list of scopus indexed journals with rapid publication and low publication charges in the field of optimization and additive manufacturing ?
I find it horrendous to ask which journal is the fastest. What you then say is that "I want to publish my boring rubbish, without the manuscript actually being read at all, and yes, I will pay the open-access fee. Thank you."
No real scientist would do such a thing. The paper has no value outside of the crooked world of OA junk, and serious institutes know which is which, so it will not be easy to convince a future employer that you actually are a real scientist. It's blatantly obvious that you are not. "Rapid publication" is the nearest route to the wastepaper basket.
I think Michael Patriksson answer is a bit harsh! We all know that the review process and feedback period are dramatically different from one journal to another! so, as we're living under the pressure of: publish, get cited, or PERISH" I think it's quite legitimate to look for valuable journals with low feedback process. Besides, It's an indicator available for most of the journals indexed in Scopus and the web of science database! We should not be ashamed from looking for our interest as well! WITH KEEPING A HIGH-QUALITY CONTENT of course. For that, this question is targeting Scopus journals... not magazines.
Dr A. Kettab I think before talking about the predatory review, we should focus on avoiding predatory JOURNALS! and there are several techniques to recognize them even from a bibliometric perspective
I am harsh, because most people here do not listen. There must be sensible and knowledgeable people around you who can steer you towards mainstream journals that are good, and have a conscience - as in NOT stealing money from you - open-access is not necessary for anyone, and you do actually can wait for a while in the necessary review process. I - and many thousands of others - did it 30 years ago, and we still do it, because that is still the only valid way to arrange a good scientific journal.
I find it very strange to prefer a quick-and-definitely-very-very-dirty journal before a meticulous journal that will give you - through the whole process - hints, questions, remarks, additional papers to cite, a better way to write, and most likely hints on structuring, and even suggestions on stuff to add - or hints on what do not need to write.
my point of view is simple. the international scientific community recognizes ISI-THOMSON and SCOPUS. Researchers should be encouraged to publish in these journals (or journals in French) ISI or THOMSON. There is the duration of publications from 04 months to 30 months. It depends on the quality of the research and the quality of the journal. Not rushing to publish is the best advice I can give. Trust the reviewers and editors of the newspapers.

Faites confiance aux critiques et aux rédacteurs en chef des journaux.
I think Professor Kettab is entirely right. Only waiting 30 months to see your paper published is a bit of a shame. In this case, the study has no credibility. Let me give you an example, suppose you are going to publish a paper on COVID-19, so with this system of journals, you have to wait until 2022 to see the birth of your baby. In 2022, there will be no more COVID-19. I prefer to stop there.
the race for publication has become a disease. we publish, because we have worked and we must have quality and original results. Our peers, ie the reviewers decide on the quality.
