i am trying to grow films from colloidal solution of CdTe quantum dots synthesized in aqueous media but particles do not stick with glass slides. so i am looking for binders that could be used to increase the adhesion?
You can use Nafion, try to use minimum concentration. Give a try to 5%, 10% and 15% solutions. I hope it will work for you.

If your solvent of colloids is polar such as water or alcohol, you can use triton x-100 or polyethylene glycol (Mw>1500).

What temperature and moisture conditions is your coating to withstand? Water soluble polymers such as PVP are excellent binders but will dissolve again when exposed to liquid water. Film-forming polymer latices (such as used as binders in dispersion paints) will not dissolve again in water after drying.
