The factor for digestion is 50/0,25 = 200.

The dilution factor is 2.

Therefore the overall factor is X 400.

Thanks for answering. But I have checked few answers where the only final dilution factor was used. I used 0.25 gm sample and digested using 3ml acid + 5ml di water. Then after micro wave digestion diluted the sample to 50ml. And then again dilution was done which I have mentioned above.

I meant I didn't saw the digestion factor being used. I calculated this way :

Ppb*dilution factor (2) * volume(50)/(0.25*1000).

You do not need the 1000 factor other than to change the unit
