I suggest you consider educational robotics. They are kinaesthetic, constructive, social and facilitate embodiment and storytelling. They can be used in interdisciplinary projects or to enable a wide variety of single subject teaching.

My suggestion is: considering the importance that teacher educators (here, the supervisors in the work context)  have in the young trainees(many, many research), the bet has to be made with this teachers who often (often, indeed) do not use the new technologies in a pedagogically advanced way. limiting themselves to using them like whole world for communication purposes and for their facilitating power to transmit information....  

How can we want the young people to apply what they did not see applied by their educators? It is not they imitate...but they collect a pattern of practice that excludes technologies and does not provide them with the instruments and criteria for their practice evaluation...I think without this the new technologies stay , for a long time, out  school and out of education inside schools.

Start slowly, one simple tool at a time and then once the teachers have mastered that one, they can move on to another. They will build their confidence gradually until they feel comfortable using ICTs. Attached is some updated research on issues and trends in flexible learning environments that can be helpful.

a very interesting project

I understood the project  (I think) and kept the basic idea - if they do not see other teachers working in an interesting way with ICTs, we can expect ... seated .....because their beliefs, perspectives, attitudes and the like will be more powerful than any other demonstration on training activities. If the teachers can observe trainers and / or very well regarded as good teachers .. membership increases and resistances will tend to decrease .....

Form practice analysis groups (first about plans and only after classrooms): to focus this planning around some teacher who consider a good user of ICT, in an "interesting" way and able to explain why he, she makes like that .... then analyze with some care the planning, questioning what is there and what they would do alternatively without the ICTs

(It is not simulation - it is real-time, with real students in a real-life learning sequence) and analyze what happened there, questioning the benefits of ICT and questioning alternatives that do not use ICTs. ..

observation is a powerful way to change what is inside teachers' heads, especially if they can talk to each other about ....

200 is a crowd but groups work
