I have NO idea how the interview will go, and it is the first-ever interview I have for Ph.D. in management accounting.

Hi Kimia Hashemi first of all, all the very best for your interview. Secondly, the interview will remain general in terms of assessing your goals and objectives related to your proposal. Third, they can be specific about the area 'why you have chosen this topic, what motivated you to pursue your Ph.D., and your research background.'
They can also be inquisitive about your previous research papers and how you have contributed to the body of knowledge in your prior research endeavors.

Congratulations to get to this point. Please remain as calm as you can. AS management account is not a purely academic topic, you will probably be interviewed on your academic and practitioner experience in the topic, awareness of the literature and the likely problem areas you may wish to develop in your research.

For me, quite challenging if you take this topic. In my opinion, you can only combine 2 topics. If you want all three, it will be difficult. The relationship between risk management and performance measurement can be explained through when management dares to take risks (high-risk, high-return), it is expected that the performance measurement will give good results.
Solo se tu misma. Habla de tus investigaciones, publicaciones o ideas de investigación que tienes. Si no tienes ninguna, indaga temas relevantes en tu disciplina, como Blockchain, sostenibilidad, etc.

First, congratulations for getting this far and good luck. I am a management account (retired) having transitioned from company secretary in the 1960s. The subject you have chosen is vast and complex in its implications. IMHO it is a question of wood and trees - what specific part of MA should you wish to chose (the trees) or an overview of the main objectives (the wood) of this most important of all accounting disciplines because senior management rely on the information provided to make life-changing decisions - thus you have to be as accurate as possible.
I chose to write about the 'wood' and published my dissertation as an e-Book a copy of which I have attached because the subject heads may assist your approach. Best wishes.

I had an associate professorship exam in 2010 in Turkey. It was an oral exam in front of a jury of five professors from Accounting/Finance. My professors were all accounting professors in the jury. I basically checked and read their textbooks in their fields. That`s what they were going to ask. You may not remember everything of course since it is an oral exam. But make sure that you show them that you know the subject matter. Just be yourself and answer the questions to the best of your knowledge. Don`t be scared that you make a mistake. We are all human and can make mistakes. Just be careful what you are answering. Also, do not answer more that required. It may carry the subject to other waters. Just be yourself. Check his/her articles in public domain. No need to prepare power point slides since you do know the questions. It is going to be a friendly talk.
I share Cenap Ilter's reply because I too feel that at interview is in fact a 'selling' exercise where you can command the conversation by asking indirect questions: Do you know what these are? Always ask questions beginning with: HOW, WHAT, WHY, WHEN, WHO WHERE. These type of questions always invoke a reply giving information, and thus you command the conversation.
If you need to close down a thread, ask a DIRECT QUESTION such as: DO YOU, WILL YOU, CAN YOU etc which invokes a YES/NO answer and allows you to move on to another thread. Journalists do it all the time because they are trained this way. Watch a TV interview and observe the interactions.
