The availability and access to data in Nigeria is a massive problem. Agencies of government statutorily saddled with these responsibilities either hoard or do not collect data for obvious reasons. Consequently, frustrating researchers with research ideas.

I am afraid you may not have a comprehensive and upto data as required. I have an old 10 years data for some states between1981 and 1990 if you need them. Another alternative will be to visit all the rivers basins, state agric development projects and NiMET for information, but be assured that it is not easy to obtain such data even at NiMET.

Engr Dr Ogarekpe, are the data to be given for free, or you want to pay for them?,because you and I know that data acquisition in Nigeria by any individual is expensive. Corporate organizations saddled with these responsibilities are hardly up and doing nor up to date
