I'm building a PIRT for a study I've been doing in Thermo-fluid modeling and I have some questions about it. Appreciate any help regarding the scoring. Summing up, I'd like to get much clear instructions about how to attribute the score (in regard to the phenomena importance). What is the score we attribute to each phenomena based in? Can I create my own criteria or I should follow some rule (which one?)?
Check out the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's PIRTs on thermal-hydraulics phenomena, which are usually published as NUREGs.using www.nrc.gov, searching the NRC NUREG document series. They have NUREGs for PIRTs for different fuel, reactor design, burnup credit, fuel analyses, thermal hydraulic codes, etc. Look at the PIRTs for RELAP, TRAC, TRACE, and their thermal simulation codes. Your professors should be able to guide you to the correct area.
