A plant community (sometimes "phytocoenosis" or "phytocenosis") is a collection or association of plant species within a designated geographical unit, which forms a relatively uniform patch, distinguishable from neighboring patches of different vegetation types.
The functioning of agrocenoses unites a large number of technological and biophysiological processes distributed in time and space, they include technical devices for providing and supporting agrotechnological processes (technocenoses) and natural structures (biocenoses), including living biological structures capable of self-development, self-regulation (plants animals).
