Ca, Al, and Fe can adsorb phosphorus anions due to their positive charge. Heavy metals also have a positive charge, fewer articles talk about phosphorus-heavy metal complexes. What compounds does phosphorus form with heavy metals? What is their stability to Al/Fe/Ca-P?

thanks for posting this interesting technical question on RG. It is, however, a bit difficult to answer because it is rather general. Phosphorus-containing ligands such as the tertiary phosphines, PR3 (R = alkyl, aryl) are extremely manifold and there are thousands, if not ten thousands, of literature references about transition metal complexes of such ligands available. By the way: I would not call calcium and aluminum "heavy metals". They are both light and have low atomic masses.
In general, one can say that of the three metals (Ca, Al, Fe) only iron has a high affinity to phosphorus containing ligsnds. In contrast, both calcium and aluminum are "oxophilic" and prefer O- and N-donor ligands.
