After I completed my PhD research studies in 2006 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA, I was allowed by the Department of Materials Engineering Head, to accept a job offer as a Specialist Aerospace Engineering of Materials job position with GE in NY. The only condition was that I write my thesis for reviews and approval while doing my job.
I did just that and only to learn that the academic adviser that supervised my write up, suddenly died of cancer in 2006. Since his death, I have not been able to secure to date an academic adviser at the University to read my thesis write up so as to earn my PhD degree.
My Research topic was electrodeposition of Fe-Ni vs. Fe- Mn nano film of intermediate at wt. % composition from aqueous solution of simple salt bath without the use of complexing agent.
Question: I graduated from the University of Birmingham, at Edgbaston Birmingham England in 2001. Is there any faculty member from any University that could Supervise my thesis along with the University of Tennessee in USA or an opportunity for an alternative challenging research topic requiring a breakthrough. It may be a funded topic such as either electro deposition of Gold or Titanium nano film on conducting or non conducting substrate from aqueous solution of simple salt bath without the use of cyanide?
