In the frame of my studies at the Sorbonne Management School (Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University ), I am currently working on my first Master's Thesis which is about "Management control and Performance Measurement".
As an important part of it, I would like to know in detail what the main problems are while dealing with performance measurement in start-ups. Here are the questions that interest me:
1) How often do startups measure your company’s performance?
2) Do startups measure their performance with the help of predetermined (predesigned) systems/frameworks or do they use separate KPIs.
3) Do they work on improving the performance measurement process itself?
4) Which systems/frameworks/recommendations/KPIs do they use for measuring your start-up’s performance?
5) How important are the costs of performance measurement for start-ups?
6) How do they use the results of performance measurement? Are the results analyzed in a performance management system?
7) Which are the main problems of performance measurement for a start-up company?
