I would like to order peptide synthesis, which will be pep1 and flg22, both tagged with 5-FAM. I would like to use these for plant treatments, followed by confocal imaging. Genescript is offering TFA-guaranteed removal. My question is, do I need a TFA removal and if so, which salt form should I choose ( Salt Form: Acetate Hydrochloride Formate ?).
I will appreciate any tip.
Joanna, How are you going to use your peptide? In buffer or in pure water? If in buffer, maybe it does not matter for the form of salt, I think!

I see， how higher the concentration of your peptide will be for your final usage？ You might try both with or without TFA（other salt forms or not salt form） to see the difference。I would say， there should be not much diffenence if you use the peptide at low final concentration。
Guobing Xiang Final concentration will be 100 to 1000 times lower than stock. Thank you for the advice.
For in vivo animal experiment, we used to exchange TFAcetate for Acetate.
